New TORCOFLEX torque wrench: full control for safe screw connections

Remscheid, September 2016 – GEDORE offers torque wrenches for controlled clockwise tightening over a range of 1 to 55 Nm in the new TORCOFLEX 3549 UK and 3550 UK series. Thanks to their hard-wearing steel tube construction with powder coating and galvanised drive head, they are ideal for use in tough daily life in industry and workshops.

The total of eight models have an inspection window with a magnifying function and integrated lever-change reversible ratchet function with clockwise, anti-clockwise and 0 positioning, making them ideal for use in vehicle assemblies and repairs.

Better than the standard

The TORCOFLEX torque wrenches are calibrated to a permitted deviation of ± 3 percent and less. This means that, like almost all GEDORE torque tools, they exceed the usual standard of ± 4 percent. Furthermore, they also have an actuating system that creates an audible and tangible signal as soon as the desired torque is achieved. The ergonomic plastic handle and clear Nm scale guarantee optimum operation.

The TORCOFLEX 3549 UK and 3550 UK series comprises the following models, all of which come with a test certificate to DIN EN ISO 6789:2003 type II class A:

• TORCOFLEX 3549-00 UK: 1-5 Nm, ¼" drive 

• TORCOFLEX 3549-02 UK: 5-25 Nm, ¼" drive

• TORCOFLEX 3549-05 UK: 10-50 Nm, 3/8" drive

• TORCOFLEX 3550-10 UK: 20-100 Nm, ½"  drive

• TORCOFLEX 3550-20 UK: 40-200 Nm, ½" drive

• TORCOFLEX 3550-30 UK: 60-300 Nm, ½" drive

• TORCOFLEX 3550-10 UK: 80-400 Nm, ¾" drive

• TORCOFLEX 3550-10 UK: 110-550 Nm, ¾" drive
