Tremendously strong

The 1.04/HP "High Power" pullers by GEDORE can cope with loads of up to 15 tonnes, which makes them up to 76 percent stronger than comparable products and ideal for changing pinions, gear wheels, ball bearings and bushes in industry, utility and agricultural vehicles. Their tremendous resilience is due to the forged cross-beam and H-profile with the reinforced bending moment, strong force arms and additional thermal finish.

Superior spread

The two-arm universal puller is now also available with a practical stand as a set of three. The pullers 1.04/HP1A-B, 1.04/HP2A-B and 1.04/HP3A-B cover a total spread range of 0 to 420 mm – 100 mm more than comparable puller sets. As the hooks are easy to change over, these flexible tools can be used as external pullers for a range from 0 to 350 mm and as internal pullers for 70 to 420 mm.

Maximum safety and time-saving

GEDORE's 1.04/HP pullers also meet the highest safety requirements: the all-steel puller hooks are precision made from a single piece of hot-forged steel and attached with almost no play at all to the cross-beam by means of a patented hook brake. The brake is easy to set and release at the touch of a button, and there is no risk of accidental release. This technology is ultra-safe and saves time. Which is also the case with the lasered adjustment scale: it means the puller arms are easy to parallel set and position symmetrically – no change of tilting.

Wear- and maintenance-free spindles

Robust, safe and maintenance-free: the spindles of the 1.04/HP spindles are made of high-quality heat-treated steel. Carbonitriding makes the surface especially hard and wear-free. Foreign bodies are unable to grip, and there is no need for oiling or greasing. And another safety plus: the fine thread of the spindle is rolled; the minimal pitch prevents the thread from loosening as the result of vibration. The pressure tip can be used on both sides as a tip or ball, which makes it ideal for centred and non-centred shafts.

Even safer with protective foil

A special foil is also available to provide even more safety. Used at extracting forces of up to 15 tonnes, it protects against the ball bearings drive pinion or small parts suddenly shearing off the work piece. The tear-proof PVC foil is welded in two layers, can be widened when necessary, and adjusts variably by means of two straps. Press studs prevent irritating overlaps.
