GEDORE mobile workbench 1507 XL

Even in larger workshops the working area always seems limited so that minor, yet still important operations have to be put off. The new GEDORE mobile workbench (1507 XL) is mobile workplace and generous storage space in one.

The total load capacity of the mobile workbench (H 985 x W 1200 x D 635 mm) is 700 kg, although a maximum load of 500 kg is to Beo bserved when it is in mobile use. The drive/steering handle makes it easy to steer the mobile workbench. Two high-performance wheels on ball bearings, two smooth-running wheels also on ball bearings and a trapezoid axle structure ensure the unit remains smooth running, manoeuvrable and keeps to the track even under maximum load.

Carcass and drawers – both doubly-protected against corrosion by a phosphate and powder coating – are made of steel sheet finished in the classic scratch-proof GEDORE Blue coating. Work is carried out efficiently on the 30 mm thick multiplex beech wood worktop and its surface is additionally protected with a linseed oil varnish.

GEDORE XL tools can also be securely stored in the mobile workbench. The extra-wide drawers provide space for keeping those non-standard items such as pipe bending pliers, the TorcoTronic electronic torque wrench and large extractors. The drawers all have a load capacity of 70 kg each. Thanks to the single-handed operation, the required tools can easily be removed from the drawers even during the working process. They are quickly replaced after use and stored away neatly thanks to the self-closing function of the drawers.

Additional storage space comes from the Euro-perforated side panels for mounting accessories such as paper roll and spray can holders as well as ordinary tool hooks and clamps. The mobile workplace makes working life easier with smart details such as the self-closing drawers and the worktop that is extended to the back for flush alignment with the wall and is compatible with the GEDORE modular system. Additional rivets on the side can be used to attach a stationary GEDORE coil spring compressor. The mobile workplace has central locking with cylinder lock for security.
