GEDORE LDA high torque cordless power screwdriver

Vaihingen/Enz, October 2017 – Even stronger, more intelligent and more flexible – yet much smaller and lighter than their predecessors: the new generation of LDA cordless screwdrivers by GEDORE Torque Solutions, the specialist for high-torque bolting technology, made of lightweight high-performance aluminium scores with its low weight and maximum performance.

Depending on the version, the basic model offers a torque range of 500 to 6000 N·m with a weight of 3.5 to 7.8 kg (no reaction arm). The desired torque is freely adjustable. A strong drive is provided by the highly efficient, fast, brushless motor with a 2-gear drive and strong 18 V lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The battery works at a consistent peak performance until it is completely discharged.

 

Peak performance: LDA Solution with a torque of up to 13,000 N·m

 

The world innovation LDA Solution, a development by GEDORE Torque Solutions, offers even more power: with a 36-V rechargeable battery up to 223 watt hours and microprocessors electronics, the screwdriver with brushless technology achieves a hitherto unequalled torque of up to 13,000 N·m – in a single gear.

For maximum precision, the LDA Solution has an optical and an acoustic zero-error strategy. A sunlight-friendly digital coloured display displays the entire working sequence visually, and an acoustic signal is given when the pre-set value is reached

 

Safely documented and controlled

 

For the LDA solution there is the possibility to store bolting operation assignments with the optional Module QS, which can be downloaded from the PC to the LDA Solution via USB interface. Another option is the documentation of more than 10,000 bolting connections using the TRACK module.

The LDA Solution is delivered with a selectable modul for documentation. GEDORE Torque Solution advices on a suitable solution for every single application.

Maximum precision and safety

 

The desired torque is freely adjustable on both items. Screw connections are made with a repeat precision of +/- 3 percent. This guarantees an individual test certificate for every single machine.

Precision and safety are of the utmost importance with both high-torque cordless screwdrivers. The low weight and ergonomic handles of the cordless screwdrivers guarantee safe working. Furthermore, the drive unit is inhibited, and can be rotated by 360°.
