50 years old – and yet always new: it is half a century since the GEDORE DREMOMETER was developed. Over the years, this popular torque wrench has grown along with the requirements for modern workshop equipment. So what makes it unique? Working with it is so accurate! Unlike other torque wrenches, the ALU-DREMOMETER doesn't mind where you apply the force, whether in the middle of the handle or elsewhere on the DREMOMETER, with both hands or using an extension tube, the torque setting is always attained – with no shifts in values. And now there's another useful innovation that is guaranteed to give the user even more control: various aluminium extension tubes are now available for all new ALU 2015 types of the GEDORE DREMOMETER that are guaranteed to make controlled screw tightening even easier. Thanks to the longer lever arm, the amount of force required can be reduced by up to 50 percent (depending on the size of the pipe). So your staff will only require half as much strength for tightening as before. This not only reduces the burden on users, but also increases safety at work. The less force is required for tightening, the lower the risk of over-tightening. Accurate working is made really easy, and the quality of the bolting increased. Absolute precision remains a given, even when using the extension tube.
For the period of this offer, all new GEDORE ALU-DREMOMETER in every size – including the smaller BR-CR-CDR types – and with the extension will be available at very appealing conditions.
The original – quality made in Germany
It has often been copied, but the GEDORE DREMOMETER sets new standards in terms of robustness, precision and safety. The specialist for challenging applications in on- and off-shore uses, in industry and agriculture, on building sites and in workshops is still manufactured at the GEDORE works in Solingen – quality that is made in Germany for long service lives and tough conditions. The all-metal construction in a high-quality aluminium alloy means it is light, yet it is also robust and resistant to dirt.
The square drive and the pivot point of the drive lever are on one axis, ensuring maximum precision and safety. Furthermore, the DREMOMETER with square drive does not have to be activated in the middle of the handle, which makes it infinitely superior to steel tube torque wrenches in terms of safety. The GEDORE DREMOMETER is suitable for applications ranging from 2 to 3000 Newton metres – and thus for almost any standard screw connection between M4 and M36. The torque wrench is available with single square drive for controlled tightening to the right, and with double square drive for controlled bi-directional tightening. The GEDORE range also includes various special accessories for difficult and hard-to-reach installation situations.
All GEDORE DREMOMETER have the test certificate to DIN EN ISO 6789:2003. Users can rely on a guaranteed precision of +/- 3 percent from the set torque – which means the DREMOMETER exceeds the standard of +/- 4 percent.
