GEDORE to present electronic torque wrench E-torc Q in three new versions with measuring ranges from 0.25 to 60 N∙m

September 2016 - GEDORE will be introducing three new versions of E-torc Q, its electronic torque wrench, at Motek, the international trade fair for automation in production and assembly which takes place in Stuttgart from 10-13 October.

Three new versions of this high-quality measuring wrench, which was first introduced last year to tremendous response, with measuring ranges from 0.25 to 60 N∙m, are being added at the Motek:

• Measuring range 1: 0.25 to 6.0 N∙m for the nominal sizes M2 to M4 in the pipe version with internal hexagon and an external cable-connected Display
• Measuring range 2: 1.5 to 12 N∙m for the nominal sizes M4 to M6 in the pipe version and with a 9 x 12 rectangular cavity with an external cable-connected display
• Measuring range 3: 6.0 to 60 N∙m for nominal sizes M5 to M10 with a 9 x 12 rectangular cavity

The addition of these three measuring sizes greatly increases the possible uses of the E-torc Q, and makes them ideal for use in quality assurance as well as prototype and small series production.

Maximum precision and optimum digital networking

GEDORE sets standards in the field of networked tools with the E-torc Q. The measuring key also has high-performance software for the intuitive parametrisation, recording, graphic evaluation and archiving of screwing operation data. The recorded data is displayed on the 4.3" touchscreen, and can be fed into the connected system via the USB interface or WLAN.

Other E-torc Q features include the high-quality rotating aluminium housing and the ergonomically designed handle. All E-torc Qs comply with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 6789:2003 Type I, and are optionally available with calibration to DAkkS-DKD-R 3-7 Class 1.

Included in the delivery are a lithium-ion battery with quick-change system plus an USB and charging cable. A charging station and 2-D bar code scanner are also available.

The electronic torque wrench is designed in particular for use in, and the accompanying documentation for, quality assurance and process optimisation, research and development.

The market launch of these three new versions is planned for January 2017.
