As computer science specialist you are responsible for our modern information and communication technologies.

 

Field of activity

• You are a specialist for everything that has to do with our IT system.
• You plan projects based on specific requirements for a variety of departments
• You analyse the many and varied problems of the operating departments and develop the appropriate IT solutions
• You are also responsible for the required technical data systems and their setup and startup as well as for staff training.
• You are the main contact in our company for system support purposes

Requirements

School-leaving qualification:
university entrance qualification ("Fachhochschulreife") as a minimum

Level of education:
An in-depth knowledge of the following school subjects provides the requirements for successful training:

• Computer science
• German
• Mathematics
• English

Inclinations and interests:

• Interest in data processing and computer science (planning and programming application programmes)
• A leaning towards to client activities (e.g. training users in handling the new technology)
• A leaning towards commercial thinking (e.g. analysing stocks management and checking whether the use of information and telecommunications systems is also economical; collecting supply offers from manufacturers)
• A leaning towards a systematic way of thinking and planned procedures (e.g. developing, planning and implementing the right IT solutions)
